Donations

Donations can be accepted during business hours of 9-12, Monday thru Friday or by special appointment.

Cash donations are necessary for Fayette Samaritans to continue its operations and sustain our current facility. Cash is necessary to help clients with emergency needs, such as housing, utilities, medical expenses and transportation. Our organization is staffed solely by volunteers, which keeps our administrative costs extremely low.

Clothing donations of new or quality used clothes supply our clothes closet and serves our clients and their families. Work-appropriate clothing for men and women, and new underwear of all sizes is always needed.

Non-perishable food items are a must to continually stock our food pantry. Member churches and organizations sponsor food drives that provide most of our inventory through the year. The local Boy Scout troops participate with their "Scout for Food" Campaign. Cash is also necessary so we can purchase specific items to balance out our pantry.

Volunteers are very important to the success of our ministry. There are many opportunities to support Fayette Samaritans with all kinds of tasks and convenient work times.

Fayette Samaritans is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, so many donations received may be tax deductible.
