Donations
Donations are accepted during the business hours of 9:00AM until 12:00 Noon Monday through Friday or by special appointment.
Cash Donations
Cash donations are necessary for Fayette Samaritans to continue its operations and sustain our current facility. Cash is necessary to help clients with emergency needs, such as housing, utilities, medical expenses and transportation needs. Cash is also necessary so that we may buy specific items to balance out our food pantry. Volunteers make up our staff which keeps our administrative cost extremely low.
Clothing Donations
Donations of new or quality used clothing, supply our clothes closet, which serves our clients and their families. Work-appropriate clothing for men and women, and new underwear of all sizes is always needed.
Non-Perishable Food Items
Non-perishable foods are needed to continually stock our food pantry. Member churches and organizations sponsor food drives that provide most of our inventory through the year. The local Boy Scouts Of America troops participate with their "Scouts For Food" campaign.
Volunteers
Volunteers are very important to the success of our ministry. There are many opportunities to support Fayette Samaritans with all kinds of tasks with convenient work times.
Fayette Samaritans is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, so many donations received may be tax deductible.
Fayette Samaritans is also a MissionFish.org organization. You can support us by buying or selling on eBay. When selling, you can designate all of, or a percentage of your sale price to be donated to Fayette Samaritans.
